Since 1982 riding Harley Davidson have been my life, so it became natural for me to start my book about something I knew so well and have DeEtta take over my life and personallity situation. Through the whole book, I put her and me in different situations and wrote how I would handle them. With DeEtta's sense of humor you will see and hear about the world of the Viking through DeEtta's eyes as she sees it.
So here is a depressed widow, missing the man she married and finding that she let herself get in a state that is not her charater. What would I do if I started feeling sorry for myself? I would jump on my Harley, knowing that riding would help me find the contentment that comes with the peace of feeling free.
One minute she is riding, the next her body is in a coma while her spirit goes back in time. When she awakes 1000 years before her time, I decided to put a twist to the story and give her amnisia. I have never had amnisia so I put myself in her position and wrote with my sense of humor on how I think I would handle it. I didn't want her to remember her former life. I wanted her and all the others to have the confusion of who she is. The story will take you with DeEtta on her adventure and also you will be with her family as they stand by her bedside, praying and waiting for her eyes to open.
Knowing that DeEtta is stuborn, outspoken and strong willed with a mind of her own, and a biker chick to top it off, I knew she needed to meet a man that would be strong and independent. A man that has always given orders and never questioned from the many he ruled. From start to finish the story is told of much conflict between them. Both fighting each other with determination to come out the winner and also having to fight with themselves when love starts to sneak into their hearts. And like any love you fantisize about, you want that love to be so strong and emotional that when it enters your mind, the feeling goes clear to your toes and takes your breath away.
The fantasy man I dreamt about has long blond hair that that you would give your sole just to intwine your fingers in. knowing that when you did, the feel of it would go from your fingers to centering in your groin. Bringing the heat of a climax. He is tall with a rock hard body that makes your fingers itch to touch. And nothing is more of a turn on then arms and stomach that rip with muscle. They say a perfect body that has you shaking, is a body of a God. I gave him a power that surrounded him so that he could give a certain look or say a word and it would bring the strongest to their knees. On the soft side, I gave him eyes with such sexual power that just to look into them made you forget everything else as you melted into mush.
To show that true love prevails I gave one the determination to protect themselves from others and fight any kind of feeling that they think is weakness. Showing themselves as cruel and hard. I gave the other the power of humor, kindness and forgiveness that with determination can break throught any defense the other is determind to hold strong.
You will laugh, you may cry and at the end of the story you will wonder. When DeEtta has to chose between two worlds, does she go back to her family or will she stay with Dradd? You will met the mysteriouse child Megan and wonder who she really is. You will read about another love of Olaf and Mirl and as in any story you will meet the vicious Ann and Douglas who are determind to make DeEtta's life more complicated then is possible for anyone to handle.
